The treasury has a museum-research type of character and its permanent setup consists of 170 subjects and a library of  211 titles.

The largest number of items are icons, created from around year 1750 to the beginning of the World War Two. The library consists of printed editions, liturgical and administrative books from the years 1683-1945.

The printed editions date from the period from 1848 to 1945 and mostly deal with religious themes and internal arrangements of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The oldest book is called ‘’Serbin usred svetilista svog Jerarhije Karlovacke a pred dverma Narodnog sabora’’ and it is from the year 1848.

Of the liturgical books the extremely valuable handwritten Gospel from the year 1707, copied by Hieromonk Jovan from Hopovo monastery, is what stands out the most. There are also Oktoich from 1683, Anthologion from 1697, and Pentecost from 1704, all printed in Moscow.

Administrative books form a group of 36 units from 1753 to 1945. The most significant document from this group is the Protocol of the baptized, married and deceased of the parish of the Transfer of the relics of Saint Nicholas from the years 1762-1777.

A special group consists of administrative files from the period from 1844 to 1945, which include: extracts from protocols of baptisms, marriages and deaths, bills, receipts, contracts, letters from higher ecclesiastical and secular authorities, correspondence between parishes, files from the times of the NDH etc. All contracts on the construction of the Cathedral of Sid, lists of donors from 1806, archives of the church’s singing association called “Javor gusle”, archives of the three largest endowments of the famous people from Sid are all kept in the Church Treasury of Sid.
