Vršac
Thanks to its unique position in the Banat lowland, diversity of flora and fauna, rich forest ecosystems, beautiful landscapes and viewpoints, most of the forest area of this mountain is protected as a nature park. Due to the significant number of bird specimens, the Vršac Mountains were declared an internationally important bird habitat in Europe in the year 2000.
