City Museum

The Vršac City Museum is one of the oldest museums in Serbia. It was founded in 1882. The first  exhibition for public was opened way back in 1896 in the “Concordia” building. The City Museum has a large number of priceless items (artifacts) arranged into 7 departments. In the central building (Concordia) there are four permanent exhibitions: “Memory of Paja Jovanović”, “Chronicle of Vršac 19th and 20th century”, “Banat collage”, “Archaeology”.
