Old Artesian Well in Zimonić

Vojvoda Zimonić

The well known as Csordakút, aka. “Baráthokkútja” offers nature lovers an opportunity to enjoy medicinal water.

At the edge of Zimonić, part of the Kanjiža municipality lies the region’s huge saline drylands area known as “Járás.” Four artesian wells were drilled here at the end of the 1800s. Only two remain of the four. One of them is the Baráthokkútja, named after the owner of a nearby farm. Baráthokkútja is a beautifully constructed bathing spot that provides an opportunity to relax in tune with nature.
