The Ethno House represents a public display of the tradition that the peoples, the inhabitants of Belo Blato- the Slovakians, the Hungarians, the Bulgarians and the Serbs, along with others, nurture and keep away from oblivion. As a part of the Ethno House complex there is a summer house covered in cane roof, which represents the traditional way the roofs were once made and are still made today. There is a souvenir shop, too, which boasts a wide variety of souvenirs made out of natural materials. Apart from its peculiar natural beauty that one can enjoy, the village of Belo Blato hosts different local as well as international touristic and cultural events such as – The festival of rakija and home-made sausages , Shepherd’s Days, Sweet Days and many others.
The Ethno House can be visited all year long in the groups of up to 50 tourists, in the smaller groups,too, or by families and individuals. For those who wish to spend a couple of days or more exploring the village of Belo Blato and its surroundings, there is a variety of B&B that offer a possibility to get a taste of different types of national cuisine.
Belo Blato is 20 km far from Zrenjanin, 68 km far from Novi Sad and 70 km far from Belgrade.
