The most significant role in the arrangement of the ethnic house was played by the women from the “Golden Thread” association, who are still in charge of it today. They remodeled the house, which is more than two centuries old, into an ethnic house consisting of three rooms: a Bačka, Serbian and Catholic room. The kitchen with an old brick oven has been preserved, which stands out.
The house is full of a large number of exhibits, some of which are more than a hundred years old. The wardrobes are full of traditional costumes and handicrafts, while on the beds, in the spirit of tradition, there are straw bags.
Among the exhibits in the ethno house, the following stand out: a weaving loom, a spindle for winding tow and linen, as well as a wooden washing object.
Apart from a kind of museum exhibition, the ethno house also offers its visitors a suitable place to rest, and the hardworking women will always be happy to welcome you with a homemade cake.
